I don’t respect ‘the army’ as a whole but can’t have anything but respect for an individual who joins the army being prepared to devote their life to protecting others, however misguided they might be.. Not for anyone who just wants to go shoot guns in a foreign country though, but I think most have good intentions at first. I did want to be in the army as a kid, but quickly went off the idea as I got older and began to understand the politics and psychology involved
I made the mistake of going in to Birmingham during boxing day sales 2 yeas ago, it was pretty traumatic
Cheap polish special brew beer, ‘k’ (mephy…) and contemplating leaving the house? Would have been up for that night but bit too far on limited funds, and after the over the top bust of our mates’ party last wkend not too keen to mission in the cold to a free/squat party either. Probably end up pub and a small gathering. Or film and bed!
We all have a beginning and an end. Life is a rollercoaster, not a train track from A to B. Some may say you went off the rails, I say you just chose the fun route.
Coincidentally, the ones who say you ‘went off the rails’ tend to be the older generation who were amogst the first to experience mass expansion of the railways. Salut! bienvenue à partyvibe. Mon français n’est pas bien, alors je vais parler en anglais.. I don’d know much about Folkestone but I live close to London and there are parties in London every weekend and a good choice of music. It shouldn’t be hard to find what you’re looking for 😉
^^ yeah also many people do k first time and get too fucked up for what they’re used to and hate it but seasoned users with high tolerances love it – compare a 1st time k user to a 13 year old downing a small bottle of whiskey with someone older whose been drinking for years

The XX – XXI heard about the stabbing at the party apparently they just said over the mic on the rig ‘leave the blades at home guys’. I didn’t see a whole lot of sketchiness but I can see what you mean about the change in profile of partiers lots of youngens who haven’t been to many. Is it the same though accross the whole underground scene? Certain oldschool local crews always attract familiar faces and I can’t help but think Bristol wouldn’t have been so bad
went to a couple of the under 18s at liquid in windsor when I was younger and it was shockingly shit definitely no loss there
